In the span of two songs ('Giulia’s Interlude' & 'Moonlove') 'I Adore U' followed the protagonist Giulia’s journey to the moon. 'I Adore U' is a powerful and experimental 3-song prequel that pieces together the overall story, this time starting at the beginning—before Giulia went to the moon.

'Party! At Basquiat's' features one of Dubai’s very own, Seki SuperVillain—from whom Yves draws inspiration when it comes to producing art. The duo delivers a soundscape straight from the '80s era of pop art. One is particularly reminiscent of the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat—of Yves’ biggest influences—to create a track that is a beautiful combination of chaos and pure artistic expression, much like a piece painted by Basquiat himself.
Whilst 'Party! At Basquiat's could arguably be considered experimental and an uncharacteristic song from Yves, in 'Dancing Alone', he returns with a trademark dark, emotionally-charged record—albeit with an '80s synth-wave genre twist.
The final track, titled 'Chrome <333' is a dark yet inspiring take that draws from a variety of genres, particularly elements of liquid drum and bass. It is the song that encapsulates the motivations behind the project as a whole—experimental, expressive and powerful. It is evident that, with this release, Yves is not scared to step outside of the mold; to push the boundaries on the mainstream sound.
With 'I Adore U', Yves combines comfortingly familiar retro sounds with his new-age melodies to create an alternate future from the past. Whilst the concept may be difficult to process, the sounds are not. 'I Adore U' is unapologetically Yves Narcissus.
'I Adore You' is available now on all music streaming and downloading platforms.
