The spectacular AV show will mark the closing event of GITEX GLOBAL, the world’s biggest technology and startup event on Friday 18th October.
A one-of-its-kind AV experience with 3D holographic projections
On 18th October, Eric Prydz will bring his world-famous live AV show HOLO to Expo City Arena at Expo City Dubai, for the official closing show of GITEX GLOBAL 2024. A landmark of technological and musical innovation, HOLO has wowed audiences across the world, thanks to its merging of music and 3D holographic projections into a unmatched AV experience. Now - for the first time in the Middle East region - HOLO comes to Expo City Dubai, an innovation-driven city of the future. The performance would mark the closing of the high profile technology and startup event GITEX GLOBAL. It will be presented in association with pioneering festival and cultural brand Sónar, a standard bearer for music, creativity and innovation since its first edition in Barcelona in 1994.
Various international DJs
The venue will start welcoming guests aged 16 and above from 19:30 onwards. Various international DJs will be performing at the event before the main act open on stage. The event promises to be the biggest show in the region and the highlight of the season. The organisers have requested visitors to look out for the final line-up of DJs, to be announced in the next few days. HOLO is the brainchild of Eric Prydz, one of the world’s most popular electronic music producers and DJs. Eric has been a key influence on the evolving sound of electronic music for more than 20 years, alongside his aliases Prydz & Cirez D. Committed to shaping the future of the live experience, his shows employ state of the art technology, bespoke lighting, and lasers to spellbinding effect. The Dubai show will be the second collaboration between HOLO and Sónar, following the performance during the festival’s 30th anniversary in June 2023.

The show also marks the closing of GITEX GLOBAL, the world’s largest and best-rated technology and startup event. GITEX GLOBAL takes place across two venues and welcomes 200,000+ tech professionals, entrepreneurs and investors to Dubai. Sónar’s creative technology vertical Sónar+D will also be present during GITEX GLOBAL with a custom exhibition area and speaker programme at this year’s Expand North Star event, which will place (WHERE) from 13th -18th October.
