As the night began this event held at the Fridge had no seats present as the audience stood in front of the stage to support these trailblazing bands. Triton took to the stage for a captivating performance, setting the tone of the night and showcasing their dynamic speeds and energetic original music with every member dancing and head-banging for their 20-minute performance. The audience fully supported the set with cheers and claps showering the band, even the more energetic audience members down the front started a moshpit running into each other along to the music with smiles on their faces.
Shortly afterward Metarust took to the stage starting with a bang as it was already obvious that the audience know who they came to support as they sang along to the majority of Metarust’s songs with no lack of energy. A moshpit had formed again and grown with the number of people participating including those of the opening band ‘Triton’. Metarust showcased a variety of styles in their music with a couple of soft, jazz-inspired tracks as well as some fast, hard-hitting tracks that the audience could not help but dance along to. Before the end of the set, Metarust invited the opening band ‘Triton’ to the stage and the group performed Metarust’s 'Hollow' together as a full supergroup with duets from both vocalists, guitar solos featured and a cowbell for the remaining members.

The crowd was at a high point but the festivities did not end as Metarust showcased their next upcoming single with drummer Samir yelling “open” to make room for the mosh pit one last time.
By the end of the night, people queued up for pictures and autographs for both bands and crowded their merchandise tables for posters, T-shirts and stickers of the band.
It was truly a milestone achieved to perform at The Fridge, and the weight of it was felt with the energy and support of the crowd present that night that sang and moshed along to our songs. Triton was also the perfect fit to play along with us and brought the energy that the show needed. "Seeing many other local bands present and show their support was the most gratifying part of the night. It was so surreal and I don't think we’ll ever get over that night,” says lead singer Saif Sami.
