How it all began? I am a pretty honest individual, so as I became an artist, which was not too long ago, I was quite hard on myself. My expectations were really high. I criticized every single show I had and over analyzed every performance. Many of my accomplishments were led with thoughts that I just got lucky instead of just being proud of doing something amazing. I was getting stuck in my own head. Constantly going to other artists instagram page, or Spotify page just to see how many followers and streams they had.

I finally got to a place where I started to think music wasn't for me. My friends and family would not be here for that, though! Haha. They consistently were there asking about the album...the music video...the next project. They were the Reason why I told myself I needed to continue to fight. I still find myself having these constant thoughts and criticism myself...but that voice is always there shutting everything else down. I am so thankful to my supporters and they are the sole Reason why I continue to do what I do.

How did your journey evolve into what is now "Reason by Christopher Marciano"

I wanted to create something as a thank you to my friends and family. Whenever they wore a shirt, I wanted them to be reminded that they are the Reason why I am where I am. During this process, I thought...why should I stop there? There are so many people out there who need a Reason to keep fighting. So I created this Brand so that others can go out there and serve as a Reason for someone in need. This can be given as a gift to someone, just to remind them of how inspirational they were in their life.

Why clothing?

As an artist, it is crucial to have a merchandise line. I knew that day was coming but I did not want to slap my name on a shirt and have people buy it to support me...I never wanted that. I have always wanted my merchandise to be about a be more than me. Along with Reason being a movement towards improving Mental Health one mind at a time, I am also donating 10% of my annual sales to one of the 5 charities displayed on my website. Each charity focuses on Mental Health.
