How are you? How are you coping?

The current situation the world is experiencing has had an impact on my musical journey, creating some delays in my plans of releasing my EP, however, this time has also been inspiring through the unexpected experiences and beautiful times I’ve had.

Do you consider your musical journey as something unique?

My musical journey has been a unique experience bringing me many opportunities, expanding my creativity and connecting me with various creatives around the world who continue to inspire my growth. It started in 2016 when I decided to start making music on my own as a hobby, posting songs on SoundCloud, then turning into a strong passion. I knew that it was something I wanted to pursue and was an outlet of expression for me. I have released various singles over the past couple of years, and I am planning to release my first EP in October.

Outside of the music space, what else keeps you busy?

Outside of the music space, I have a handmade jewelry brand that I started a year ago. I wrap different crystals with wires and make various types of necklaces, bracelets and waist chains. Check it out @thirdeyejade on instagram!

Outside of the music space, who are your inspirations?

I always want my listeners to feel good listening to my music, whether it is by connecting to the messages in my lyrics through feeling empowered or connecting to their own emotions. If my music helps to make someone feel inspired in their own lives in any way that means the most to me.

Dream

My biggest dream is to perform my music around the world, to have my music reach the ears of people from different places. The idea of knowing that different people can connect and support something I created that is so meaningful, is so empowering and inspiring to me.

EX

How was your first public performance like?

Although I have performed for Last Seen Live Dubai, I still would not consider myself to have had an official first performance, however, I am planning on having it very soon for my EP drop!

How's it like growing up as a third-culture kid?

Being a third culture kid, born and raised in a Lebanese family in California definitely helped to influence me as I was exposed to western culture throughout my childhood. My musical inspirations growing up influenced my connection to music now, being exposed to artists from around the world. Moving to the UK for my university degree also exposed me to an entirely new music scene that is very unique and inspiring.
